2. Selection Of Report Contents OpenTAMS allows for the selection of the contents of reports in several ways. Contents may be asset-related, or may related to other objects such as work items, or codes resulting from configuration and system setup. The Prefilter allows for selection of assets. Other objects can be selected in various ways depending on their nature. The Prefilter icon shows when it is available Some reports have additional selection criteria. This show illustrates how to use the ReptMenu form. The printer icon shows when reports are available.

3. Press the Reporting button or the Report icon to run the ReptMenu form. Use the Prefilter to select a set of assets, now or from the ReptMenu form. Click to select whether to use CPI for escalating costs now or from the ReptMenu form. Starting from the main menu form The ReptMenu can only be started from the main menu form. It can be run before any assets have been selected, or after this.

This explains how the assets were selected. If the Prefilter process has run, the results are displayed, and report selections can be made immediately..

6. Reports are grouped by “Subject Area ID”. Meaning of Subject Area ID is shown here. Reports are sorted by mnemonic names. Click on the QBE Data field for a PDF preview of the report content and format. The Report Selection Menu - Layout

8. Click on the Report field to run the high-lighted report. Once the Prefilter process has been run, select reports as required. The Report Selection Menu – Ready To Run

9. The Report Output Controller allows for selection of output processes. Click to print the report directly. NB –If a PDF writer is available, this can be selected using its controls. Click to display the report. Click to save the report to a word-processor format and a spreadsheet format. NB - This only works for simple reports. 11. Click to select whether to use CPI for escalating costs. Select an appropriate date - CPI data must be available for the period selected. The Report Selection Menu – Construction Indexing Assets that have not be costed using Strict Costing may be reported using Cost Price Indexing.
