6. College Prep: Required High School Classes 4 years of English emphasizing composition/literature 3 years of Math selected from elementary algebra, geometry, intermediate algebra, trigonometry, college or advanced algebra, or calculus (strongly recommended that students take up to at least trigonometry). 3 years of science courses that meet either state or local graduation requirements. At least one course must provide a laboratory experience.

7. 1 year of American History 4 years chosen from at least two subjects of the following: history, English, mathematics beyond intermediate algebra, laboratory science, foreign language, social science, and fine arts. 2 years of a foreign language (recommended the same one) College Prep: Required High School Classes
