Group 2: New Strategic Emphases and Directions What emerging strategies or new emphases seem most promising to build on existing work? How do you scope and develop them? Do we have the right focus? Geographies? Actors?

Group 3: Linking to and Building Demand What else do we need to know about making information relevant to people who can use it? Can we identify strategies with greater reach – focused on ‘where the people are?’ How do we link information and action most effectively? How do we ensure that marginal voices are included?

Group 5: Joined Up Strategies for Scale and Sustainability How do we think more holistically, beyond projects or initiatives? How to we build ‘horizontal’ scale (coalitions, inter- sectoral work, etc) How do we link micro to macro, e.g. vertical scale? How do we sustain the gains?
6
Group 6: Innovative Funding Mechanisms How to build more collaborative approaches that help support innovation, shared learning, etc.? – Public/private partnerships? Links with non-traditional actors Can we partner to create more flexible, less risk averse funding support? Do we have the balance of funding right? – Civil society? Media? Top-down? Bottom Up?
