(“Walton”) and its investors a larger voice with the City of Edmonton’s Planning Department. While an overall servicing plan has yet to be prepared for the area, Walton is currently encouraging the City of Edmonton to assess the future growth patterns for northeast Edmonton. In addition, the zoning designation of these lands in the Edmonton Municipal Development Plan will have to be changed from Agricultural to Suburban in order for development to occur.
