Status of the Population San Francisco Bay Biomass estimate for 2010-2011 season was 57,082 tons A significant increase over previous season estimate of 38,409 tons Increase due to strong recruitment of 3-year old herring Low harvest rate recommendation provides a sustainable fishery and continued stock rebuilding
