Mary thinks she can afford a bachelor apartment that is $510 a month plus utilities The current tenant tells her she paid about $1000 for utilities last year –About how much should she expect to pay for utilities per month? 1000 / 12 = $83.33 –About how much will she pay in total then? $510 + $83.33 = $593.33
