Creative commons provides free licenses for creators to use when making their work available for the public to use. This license helps the creator give permission for people to use their work. Creative common licenses allow the creator to decide how other people can use their work.
9
All creative common licenses allow work to be used for education purposes – teachers and students. Teachers and students can usually copy, share and sometimes modify without seeking permission from the creator.
10
When using Creative Commons material, you must do the following: Credit the creator Provide the title of the work Provide the URL Indicate the type of license it has Abide by the copyright notice

Copyright is part of the law. It is about protecting the work that people such as authors, composers, writers and publishers produce. When using digital media, you have to be aware of what you can and cannot use and respect the copyright license.
