1 Selecting And Using Lawn Herbicides Stephen Brown Friday, January 8 This class will cover types of lawns and weed identification, cultural control of lawn weeds, types of lawn herbicides, matching those herbicides to particular grasses, and seasonal applications of herbicides. Stephen H. Brown, Lee County Horticulture Agent, received his M.S. in Soil Fertility and Plant Nutrition from the University of Florida. He has been with Lee County Extension Service for 21 years tackling such issues as plant insect and disease problems, palm and turf problems, and right plant right place.
