Take 12 inches per foot and multiply them by the amount of feet you are looking for (3). 12 x 3 = 32 inches. 32 inches = 3 feet With all the knowledge you have on conversions, how many inches make up 3 feet?

You know that 3 feet make up one yard. We are looking for how many feet make up 5 yards. Take 3 feet per yard and multiply them by the amount of yards you are looking for (5). 3 x 5= 15 feet. 15 feet = 5 yards How many feet make up 5 yards?
