Page 3 Background The iLanga command centre iLanga : complete software-based PBX solution that was developed at Rhodes. Entirely based on open source software iLanga main components: Asterisk SIP Express Router Apache web server Proxy

Page 4 Introduction What do we mean by “command centre” ? A command centre is simply a web interface that is use to provide an integrated access to services to users. In case of voice or video communication, the command centre allows to control all the end-points from a single interface, adding or deleting them. Typical services for voice are checking voicemail, directory listing (with click-to-call), call history.

Page 5 Problem statement Create a web command centre for the Mobicents platform that will be used to make services accessible from a single point to its users. Initially, as in the case of iLanga, I will concentrate on voice services

Page 6 Mobicents Mobicents: first and only open source VoIP platform certified for JSLEE 1.1 and SIP servlets 1.1 compliance. It provides high performance, scalability and portability. It supports all the features provided by Asterisk and provides much more in an open standard way.

Page 7 Already now, Mobicents has numerous services beyond voice. E.g., video streaming, online multi-player games, location based services. It will therefore be possible to add more services to our new command centre, which will be built to be easily extensible. Beyond the ilanga Interface
