What are the diseases? Multiple Sclerosis –Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune disease that affects the brain and spinal cord (central nervous system). H1N1 Flu Virus –H1N1 (sometimes called “swine flu”) is a influenza virus causing illness in people.

What type of Pathogens cause this disease? H1N1 and multiple sclerosis is caused by a viral pathogen http://www.health.com/health/static/hw/media/medical/hw/h9991221.jpg http://s4.hubimg.com/u/2064507_f496.jpg

How are you infected? MS is caused by damage to the myelin sheath, the protective covering that surrounds nerve cells. When this nerve covering is damaged, nerve impulses are slowed down or stopped. The nerve damage is caused by inflammation. Inflammation occurs when the body's own immune cells attack the nervous system. Researchers are not sure what triggers the inflammation. The most common theories point to a virus or genetic defect, or a combination of both. Geographic studies indicate there may be an environmental factor involved. People with a family history of MS and those who live in a geographical area where MS is more common have a slightly higher risk of the disease. Spread of the H1N1 virus is thought to occur in the same way that seasonal flu spreads. Flu viruses are spread mainly from person to person through coughing, sneezing or talking by people with influenza. Sometimes people may become infected by touching something – such as a surface or object – with flu viruses on it and then touching their mouth or nose.

6
How does the disease terminate?
