The Personality Theory of Carl Jung Jung theorized 8 personality types based on two distinct attitudes: Introversion and Extroversion and Four Psychological Functions: Feeling, Thinking, Sensing & Intuition (1875-1961)

Attitude, according to Jung, is a person’s predisposition to behave in a particular way. There are 2 opposite attitudes: INTROVERSION EXTROVERSION

Two aspects of style: intuition (N) Knowing about something without conscious understanding of where that knowledge comes from sensing (S) The means by which a person knows something exists

Feeling (F) and Thinking (T) Describe the ways we appraise or judge the reality we perceive. Feeling- is the method by which a person understands the value of conscious activity Thinking – is the method by which a person understands the meaning of things
