2010 M&S LEADERSHIP SUMMIT Evaluate lessons learned from other organizations in attacking similar problem (s) –Semiconductor, biomedical, Identify stakeholders in M&S disciplines –Producers and consumers; who needs, who provides –All functional areas, not just “for training” –Collect into regional groups Lowest level = state Conceive a collaborative space –Standards; Body of knowledge, Event calendar, stakeholder/entity information, etc Create a strategic communications plan –Sell value of M&S, facilitate collaboration across entities, resources Create SWOT for present state Identify and track/quantify M&S budgets and sources Conduct a national M&S Economic Impact Study Candidate Activities
