Location One of the three territories in Canada Nunavut takes up 1/5 of Canada’ s land The largest territory in Canada Nunavut is in the far north and has many islands in the Arctic ocean

Attractions People come to Nunavut to hike, fish, camp, see wildlife and hunt The Spring carnival, (toonik tyme), has a parade and it ends with a big meal and snowmobile racing, snowhouse building and dogsledding.

Wild Life The animals in Nunavut are polar bears, arctic, foxes, whales and seals. The Inuit do not waste anything. They use muskoxen, caribou, whales and seals for food. They make clothing from polar bear arctic foxes and seals.

vegetation Nunavut has tundra which is covered moss, tough grasses and small willow shrubs. The soil is frozen, and its called permafrost. Airplanes fly many fruit and vegetables into Nunavut. Tundra
