Built Environment Professions Bill B53-2008 The South African Institution of Civil Engineering was established in 1903 and is a voluntary organization representing 8700 members including Civil engineers, technologists, technicians & students

Transformation since 1993 SAICE moved from a predominantly white male membership with a handful of women in 1980 to 2371 African 343 Asian 167 Coloured 840 Women Out of the 8700 members
