Lack of Funding For: l Membership development l Publicity l Sponsorship/Organization of events with traveling required l Projects l Seed money for other activities

Lack of Publicity and Active Members l We still need to devise other means of publicity to attract new members. l New members are needed to for succession planning. l Active members needed for MEEM and the management of the EdSocSAC Content Management System.

Budget Proposal for 2010

l Awards for students Up to $1000 dollars/year for awards + 20 free EdSoc memberships. l Advertisement in conferences and other meetings $500 dollars/year for posters and pamphlets. l Travel for supporting activity chairs Up to $3000 dollars/year for traveling, conference fees, accommodations, etc. l Support students to create activities Up to $2000/year for partial sponsorship for activities of EdSocSAC. l Total: 6500 dollars/year + 20 memberships.
