1 Future Leaders Experience Update June 10, 2010

2 Objectives 1.Build on the Arthur W. Page Society mission by developing the skills, knowledge and networks of the next generation of Chief Communication Officers. 2.Foster a sense of community among the participants and facilitate an exchange of ideas between the participants and current Page Society members. 3.Build a program centered on the foundation of the Page Principles and related content including The Authentic Enterprise and the Trust Report. 4.Facilitate individual insights and grounding for personal leadership development. 5.Utilize the knowledge, experience and insights of the FLE participants to enhance the content of other Page Society programs and initiatives.

3 Background  Highly positive evaluations of 2009-2010 Future Leaders Experience by participants and nominators.  Enthusiastic support for participation in future sessions by current organizations.  Strong support for six content areas.  All six conveners are willing to serve in this role for 2011-2012.  Program will be cost-neutral to Page Society for 2009-2010.

5 Recommendations  Commit to Future Leaders Program for 2011-2012  Begin recruiting new class  Optimum class size: Up to 35 participants  Organization sponsor status –Inaugural class organizations have right of first refusal for class slots –$25K: Two participants, recognition as sponsor –$15K: One participant  Consider staffing models for 2011-12  Continue to consider relationship to Page Two initiative
