Thesis Prompt: Could WWII have been prevented? 1.Read p.34.3-34.5 and gather evidence of the build up to WWII. (format on the next slide) 2.Write a thesis statement that identifies why or why not the war had to happen. – There were so many bad guys intending harm to the world, it seems easy to prove that the war had to happen. – More challenging would be trying to prove that it didn’t have to happen.
