Coral Secondary School Student Leadership Overseas Expedition to Beijing 2016 Trip Objectives To facilitate the teaching and learning of leadership skills through the preparation and completion of an expedition. To facilitate character education through outdoor adventure learning.

Coral Secondary School Student Leadership Overseas Expedition to Beijing 2016 Proposed Programme The proposed programme would be to scale and hike a total distance of approximately 30km on a restored section of the Great Wall of China in an effort to overcome this extreme challenge. The Great Wall was chosen for this feat because of it is one of the world’s modern wonders, and one of the greatest technological achievements in all of mankind, has long held the imagination of writers, scientists, soldiers, and now of course, travelers and adventurers.

Coral Secondary School Student Leadership Overseas Expedition to Beijing 2016 First Stop? A Trip to the Supermarket! Students will visit a supermarket to stock up and prepare for their meals throughout the trek.

Coral Secondary School Student Leadership Overseas Expedition to Beijing 2016 Self planned trips Students will split into groups and plan for their own day trips to places of interest. Not only do they choose the locations, they are to figure out how to get there too.
