Your town and adjoining communities have experienced numerous residential burglaries. The incidents were occurring in the early evening hours. The method of operation seemed to be consistent. Upon seeing no one around, the offender would enter the residence through an unlocked patio door. At the time the offender entered the residence, a purse would be in full view on the kitchen table. The offender would grab the purse and close the patio door leaving no indication any one was ever there. The female resident would at some point notice her purse missing. At first, she would think she had misplaced it and would take time to check numerous places looking for her missing purse. Upon realizing that her purse had been stolen, she would then contact the police.
