3 Bok Choy might look a lot like celery, but it is a member of the cabbage family. The Chinese have been cultivating Bok Choy for more than 5,000 years. Today it is grown in California and parts of Canada, along with China.

4 Bok Choy is known for its mild flavor. It can be eaten raw like celery. It also is great for stir fry cooking, braising, and in soups. Bok Choy grows in about two months from planting to harvesting.
