In this demo, we will go through the steps to select and view the District level Dashboard. Page 8

9. Confidential & Proprietary AARP Foundation Tax-Aide STEPS: 1.From the volunteer portal, click on the dashboard tab. 2.Select a split-state from the Find A Dashboard drop-down list. Once your split-state is selected, it will become your default view every time the dashboard object is selected. 3.Next select your district in the field titled Filter By. This will allow user to view information for their district only. Note: You will have to go to the home tab and refresh your dashboard to make sure accurate information is showing. 4.Data will be displayed using tables which are summary views of reports; 5.You will see three reports with data based on your split-state and district. 6.Clicking on a report from the dashboard will displayed the actual report. Confidential & Proprietary AARP Foundation Tax-Aide APPLICABLE ROLES: RC, All SMT, DC, AC, LC SCENARIO: Time to time, you may want to export the online report to Excel so that you can add filters, sort or analyze the data and edit the format that is more helpful. **Note: To export a Report immediately to Excel in a format that includes color-coding, hyper-links, details about the Report, and groupings, click Printable View. 12. Confidential & Proprietary AARP Foundation Tax-Aide STEPS: Page 12 Export and Print Reports 1. From the volunteer portal, click on the dashboard tab. 2. Data will be displayed using tables. 3. Click anywhere within the desired data column to display the respective report. 4. Click the export details button and choose a file format, and click export. In all cases, the default format should be used. 6. To export a printable version of the report that will allow you to filter, sort, edit or print the resulting excel document, click printable view. 7.Depending on the browser, choose run or open the file.
