Computer Lab Agenda What we will be working on for the next few weeks: You will be learning about the history of computers. You will be using the computer to complete the interactive activities in this presentation. You will watch videos, view a timeline, answer questions, and complete a student critique. You will complete 2 extension activities.

What are the objectives for this lesson? You will understand how simple machines have evolved into modern computers. You will be able to differentiate between the first generation of computers and computers today. You will be able to discuss the benefits of computers. You will be able to explain how computers have changed our daily lives.

Activating Prior Knowledge Can you think of any inventions that changed the way we work and live? What are the changes and improvements that have been made to those inventions?
