3. On the AISD homepage www.austinisd.org click on Quicklinks on the left side of the page and find Naviance.www.austinisd.org

4. Next find your High School link and click on it

5. Classes of 2016-2019: E-mail/Username Box: Student ID Number Password Box: Student ID Number Class of 2020: E-mail/Username Box: S + your student ID number. Password box: First letter of last name(uppercase)6 digit DOB (MMDDYY) lower case s

6. Take Career Pathway Survey: Click on about me tab. Under surveys to take select career pathway

7. Home Page of Family Connection: Click on Courses Tab

8. Click on Manage My Course Plans

9. Click on Add a New Plan

10. Click on Create New Draft Plan

11. Select a Plan of Study by clicking Choose This One ( Make sure to select the plan specific to the endorsement that you have decided to pursue)

12. Modify Courses page will open:

13. Click on each subject area for that requirement and select course(s) you want to take next school year by clicking in the box next to the course name

14. Click Add Selected Courses to Your Draft Plan at the bottom of the screen

15. Select the grade level for the course and click ok

16. Click on 3. Review & Finalize at the top of the page

17. Click on View by Grade Level Make sure that the plan for the next school year has 8 credits and includes the four core academic courses (English, Math, Science, & Social Studies) Click on View by Grade Level

18. To make corrections click on 2.modify courses

19. Congratulations! You have just completed your course selections for ninth grade. This is the first step in planning for a successful high school experience.

20. Students and Parents can make changes in Naviance until March 4th

21. Turn in your completed Austin ISD Endorsement Declaration/Four year Plan to your 8 th grade counselor.
