10 Fun Facts About Dolphins  Each dolphin has it’s own unique whistle to identify himself.  Dolphins are highly social, playful, curious and intelligent. They live in groups or families called Pods.  Male dolphins are called Bulls and female dolphins are called Cows.

11  2 nd Grade Science.  Objective 2 Identify basic needs of living things (plants and animals) and their abilities to meet their needs.  Communicate and justify how the physical characteristics of living things help them meet their basic needs. Observe, record, and compare how the behaviors and reactions of living things help them meet their basic needs. Identify behaviors and reactions of living things in response to changes in the environment including seasonal changes in temperature and precipitation.
