2. Prospectus for Apple Inc. Apple Inc. (APPL)-Apple Inc. offers products for a variety of education, government, and business customers. Apple products are sold worldwide through online stores and retail stores. I chose this stock because a lot of high school graduates are looking into purchasing apple products, most commonly the apple laptop for college. Most teenagers own a ipod or an apple product of some sort. Historically, APPL has done better in the past then now. I purchased apple stocks on June 16, 2007 at the price of $122.04 per share. I bought 25 shares so my total amount spent was $3661.20. I sold my 25 shares on November 16, 2008 for $90. 24 a share. Overall I had a net loss of $1405.20.

3. Prospectus for Kraft Food Inc. Kraft Foods Inc. (KFT)- Kraft Foods Inc. is the manufacturing and marketing of packaged foods and beverages worldwide. The company also offers grocery, which includes ready to eat cereal and desserts. Historically, KFT has done better in the past, but not my much. I purchased Kraft Foods because food is always a necessity so it must always be bought. I purchased Kraft Foods stock on June 16, 2007 at the price of $33.77 per share. I bought 99 shares so my total amount is $3343.23. I sold my 99 shares on November 16, 2008 for $27.44 a share. I had a net loss of $626.67.

4. Prospectus for a CD My final investment was in a CD. CD’s have a low-risk and solid return. They also can have a short maturity term. I invested $2995.57 at 4.17% on November 16, 2007. The length of my investment was one year. I had a net gain of $124. 92.
