10. 10 Compliance Education 10.1 Unethical Conduct. (b) Knowing involvement in arranging for fraudulent academic credit or false transcripts for a prospective or an enrolled student-athlete; –FAR Interpretation: Student-athletes should be held to the same academic rigor as all other students. They should not receive anything not available to all students.

11. 11 Compliance Education Coaches are not permitted to call faculty members or other instructional personnel to ask about student-athlete performance in a class. Contact, if needed, should come from Student- Athlete Center for Academic Excellence or Faculty Athletics Representative. 12. 12 Compliance Education Do not provide extra benefits of any kind to a prospect, an enrolled student-athlete, or their relatives and friends. Examples of such benefits include, but are not limited to: Provide financial aid or support in any form Make employment arrangements for relatives Offer or give any clothing or equipment Co-sign or provide loans Offer or give any tangible items or merchandise (e.g. gifts) Offer or provide free or reduced-cost services rentals or purchases Offer or provide free or reduced-cost housing If there is something that you would like to possibly do, please contact the Compliance Office at 561-297-4547

13. 13 University Approved Absences Students are responsible for arranging to make up work missed because of….participating on an athletic or scholastic team…It is the student’s responsibility to give the instructor notice ….. Instructors must allow each student who is absent for a University-approved reason the opportunity to make up work missed without any reduction in the student’s final course grade as a direct result of such absence.
