3.  1920s – 1967 - Power plant owned by Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LA DWP) located on site.  1967 - Power plant demolished.  1987 – Site remediated for asbestos contamination and removal of subsurface structures.  1980s – current – Majority of site is vacant and fenced. San Gabriel River Bike path runs through portion of site adjacent to the river.  2004 - Bay City Partners, LLC acquired the site. 3

11.  1970 - 1976 - Lease issued to San Gabriel River Improvement Company for 66 years which was terminated early.  June 1976 – Staff solicits proposals from developers to develop parcel.  April 1977 - Negotiations with Mexico City Restaurants for a restaurant and retail proposal.  April 1978 – Lease approved but never issued to Marina Racquetball Club for public sports complex with tennis, racquetball and volleyball. 11

12.  June 1981 – Lease issued for commercial retail and restaurant complex.  August 1986 – Lease approved but never executed with Super 8 Lodging for a hotel complex.  November 1987 – New lease approved to Seal Beach Gateway for a hotel complex.  October 1995 – Lease terminated with no hotel constructed. 12
