6 Good Debt VS Bad Debt  Good debt includes anything you need but can't afford to pay for up front without wiping out cash reserves or liquidating all your investments.  Bad debt includes debt you've taken on for things you don't need and can't afford. CNN Money Online

7 Debt Snowball An easy method of debt repayment where the debtor pays off the debt with the smallest balance first while paying the minimum on the other debts. Oak View Law Group Online

9 Debt Snowball Steps 1. Put $1000 in your emergency fund and DO NOT TOUCH IT FOR ANY REASON EXCEPT MAYBE YOU'RE DYING AND IT'S YOUR LAST RESORT. 2. Find out how much extra money you can spare to put towards your debts each month. 3. List your debts from least to greatest. Pay off the smallest amount of debt first using the minimum payment plus the spare money you found somewhere. This will create the first "snowball”. Don't worry about interest rates, just the amount owed. 4. Repeat the process, making larger and larger "snowballs" until you are debt free!
