Step 2: Click on ‘Assessment Planning’ in the left side menu. Step 4: Add measure results for the program or course. Click on the outcome you wish to enter results for. Program outcome screen: Course outcome screen:

Step 5: Enter the results for each of your measures in the ‘Measure Results’ textbox(es). When entering the results, be sure to state how many students did or did not meet the benchmark in the measure statement. Results can be entered as they are obtained, at the end of a semester, or the end of the academic year. Assessment plans are due on June 30 th each year.
6
Once you are finished entering all of the measure results for a program level outcome, click ‘Yes’ at the bottom of the page to confirm you are finished entering the data for the Measures tab. NOTE: Course level assessment plans do not have this feature. Proceed to the next slide for information regarding moving forward on program and course assessment forms.
7
Once you have finished entering all of the information in the measures tab, you can continue working on the outcome/goal you just entered results for by clicking on the remaining assessment plan tabs/links (Results, Analysis, Recommendations, Actions). Program level plan ‘tabs’: Course level plan ‘links’: If you click on ‘Save’ at the bottom of the measures page you will be taken back to the list of outcomes/goals for your assessment plan. That’s ok! Just click on the outcome/goal to go back in so you can finish entering the plan information in the remaining tabs/links.
8
When you have entered the information in each of the tabs and you have indicated that the data collection for each tab is complete (for a program), click on ‘Save’. That outcome/goal, on the main page, will then show that the assessment plan tabs for that particular outcome have been completed: The next several slides will guide you through filling out the remaining assessment tabs.
9
Step 6: Results. Because you should have results for more than one measure, the Results tab allows you to enter the overall findings for each outcome. Once you are finished entering all of the results, click ‘Yes’ at the bottom of the page to confirm you are finished entering the data for the Results tab for this outcome. On this tab you are able to indicate whether or not the outcome was met, not met, or partially met and if any further action is planned.
10
Step 7: Analysis. The analysis sections provides the plan administrator an opportunity to reflect on the strengths and/or weaknesses of the measures used for the assessing the students. When you are finished entering your analysis, click ‘Yes’ at the bottom of the page to confirm you are finished entering the data for the Analysis tab.
11
Step 8: Recommendations. Considering the overall results of the outcome in question, as well as the analysis of the measures utilized, what recommendations do you have to improve student learning and/or assessing their learning? Once you are finished entering your recommendations, click ‘Yes’ at the bottom of the page to confirm you are finished entering the data for the Recommendations tab.
12
Step 9: Actions. Identify the actions you intend to take to improve learning and teaching as well as the responsible person or group, a target date for implementing the changes, and any resources necessary to implement the changes. When you are finished entering your recommended actions and responsible party, click ‘Yes’ at the bottom of the page to confirm you are finished entering the data for the Actions tab.
13
Step 10: Submit. If you are completing a program level plan, your submission will be automatic once you have checked ‘Yes’ to each ‘data entry complete’ field at the bottom of each form (Measures, Results, Analysis, Recommendations, Actions). If you are completing a course level plan, click on the ‘Submit’ button once you have completed filling out the forms (Measures, Results, Analysis, Recommendations, Actions) for each individual outcome being assessed.
14
The assessment plan is not complete until you have completed the steps for each outcome. You will know when an outcome is completed because you will see the word ‘Complete’ at the end of the outcome statement as opposed to ‘Not Complete’: Once you have completed entering the information in the measures, results, analysis, recommendations, and actions tab for each outcome, you will see the word ‘complete’ next to each outcome that was being assessed.
