4. Worship Defined: Personal Worship - Living our lives in a way that magnifies the worth of God the Father and God the Son (the Lord Jesus Christ) in and through God’s Spirit.

5. Essentials of True Worship 1) True worship must include a heart devoted to God with deep affection for God.

6. Essentials of True Worship 2) True worship must include right knowledge about God – knowledge that is rooted in who God has revealed himself to be.

7. Essentials of True Worship 3) True worship must result in our hearts being devoted ‘to God’ with great affections ‘for God’ because of the truth ‘of God’ our minds know to be true.

8. Essentials of True Worship 4) True worship requires both the heart and the mind in worship - Jesus demands both – that is how we worship ‘in spirit’ and ‘in truth’.

9. Essentials of True Worship 5) True worship is the very source of Spirit-led service to God – service that is pleasing to God. No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money. (Matthew 6:24)

10. Great Motivation: True worship matters immensely to God – He seeks this kind of worshipper and He demands it.
