3. We Are Rafikis Pick up pre-orders today! BIA purchased extra to sell! You can purchase any of the six colors for $10 each $5 goes as a wage to the mama in Kenya that made it $5 goes towards our “Build a School” fund/goal Great gifts! We will sell in December school wide!

4. Pay it Forward Service Trip! Thursday, January 14 (after school) thru Monday, January 18 (MLK Day, no school) $100 holds your spot. Remainder due by January 5, 2016. Use link that was sent out Parent/Student meeting on Thursday November 5 th, 7:00-8:00pm in the Auditorium. All A-H students invited to this meeting. 80 spots total; first come first serve – 32 already taken! 23 by BHS! Fundraising – sell either pies/cheese cakes and/or french bread pizza. Start on 11/5. Turn in after Thanksgiving break. Stay after for info! Financial Aid application – partial only – will know within 2-3 days. Can also apply through the district if STLF runs out or you need more. Based off free/reduced lunch rate Youth Service Hours – 16-20 WILL count toward BIA lettering and also 2016 President’s Award.

5. Current Opportunities Various Dates - Leaf raking for Senior Citizens in Anoka County! Many needed! Nov 9 – Feed My Starving Children – District Challenge!! Salvation Army Bell ringing shifts now posted!

6. BIA October Projects - We Scare Hunger All donations will go to Hope 4 Youth All hours spent collecting count as youth service hours and towards lettering! Fill out a form & turn it in. Take a picture – send to Mrs. Phillips & #bhsbia GOAL – 2,015 items! 20 houses /items per student! You still have time! Collect until 11/8! Bring in by Monday 11/9 Help sort & count after school on Monday 11/9 & Tuesday 11/10 – sign up will be sent out Help load & deliver at 9:00-12:00 on Saturday 11/14 – sign up will be sent out
