Sponge Bob Wants to Go Home Using vectors on a piece of graph paper you will plot out Sponge Bobs harrowing path to his pineapple under the sea. Start scaling your graph so that the x-axis is the longer axis Each axis must be 3 lines in from the edge.

The Adventure Begins Using your ruler and protractor, plot Bobs course Leaving from (0,0), Bob goes 2.5cm due north.

Meeting With Patrick Bob sees his friend Patrick, and wanting to say hi to his dear friend, he changes course. Sponge Bob turns 60 0 to the right for another 4.6 cm.

Meeting With Sandy As Bob finishes with Patrick, he spots Sandy! From his present course, Bob makes a 60 0 left turn and proceeds another 4.6 cm.

Sandy Talks Too Much Sponge Bob can’t handle Sandy’s yapping. Again from his present course, Bob makes a 90 0 right turn (east) for 4.9 cm.

Had a Bad Day Again Poor Sponge Bob walks right into Itchy and Scratchy having a fight and must alter his course once again. He makes a 57 0 turn to the right and proceeds another 9.3 cm on your graph, avoiding Itchy and Scratchy.

Squidward After walking the 18.6 meters (9.3 cm on your graph), Sponge Bob meets up with his buddy Squidward. After an enlightening discourse, Bob turns left 110 0 and walks 2.9 cm on your graph to get home.
