Comparison : Google Docs requires web access to be used; whereas, OpenOffice runs after it is installed. Google Docs needs internet and one can't operate without that but Microsoft Office requires download on desktop and then it operates without the Internet access. A document is saved on computer's local in MS Office while Google Docs saves a user's documents to 'the cloud,' or Google's servers. Cnt.Comparison A user can access into her Google's account from any location and then into her documents. Unlike OpenOffice or MS W, a user has to carry documents in Flash Memory or carry the Laptop.
