Meeting basic needs Giraffes have long legs for kicking predators away and reaching tall trees to eat. There eyes provide good vision. Giraffes spots help them camouflage with tall trees.

Function of a Giraffe Giraffes have thick rubbery lips so they won’t get hurt from eating trees with thorns. There tails swap flies just like horses. When giraffes drink water they have to squat so when predators come they can run They can gallop at up to 30 mph

Food source Giraffes eat tree leafs that means they are herbivores! They find many trees in there ecosystems which is the savannah (grassland in africa) They eat trees leafs because there stomach needs the nutrition

The Giraffes habitat Giraffes live all over Africa except for some places. 3 reasons that giraffes live that habitat 1. it provides the food they need (trees) 2. There are good trees to camouflaged with. 3. there is some water for them to drink out of.
