How to Get Started FAQs 1. Request a PSX Account 2. Take PSX Training
To request a PSX account, provide your PAM with the following : Windows Live ID Account (preferably the same one associated with MPN) Enrolled in PMC Valid MPN ID First and Last Name Q: How do I get set up with PSX? A: Contact your PAM to request a PSX account. Q: I lost or don’t have my Welcome . What should I do? A: You may login to PSX without your Welcome using the PSX URL If you are not able to login to PSX contact your PAM to confirm your access has been set up. Check your SPAM folder for your Welcome to confirm you have been provisioned if you face any difficulties signing in. Q: I forgot my Windows Live ID password, how can I reset it? A: Users can reset their Windows Live ID password using the Forgot your password? link on the sign in page. Q: Must I use the same Windows Live ID for PSX as for MPN? A: No, but if you do use the same Live ID you will save time since you will able to navigate between the tools without re-entering your credentials. Q: Where can I find training on PSX? A: Localized self-serve PSX training is available anytime on the PLC at Q: I am unable to login to PSX and the error message states that I do not have a valid account. A: Please check that you are not logged into another website with a Windows Live ID that is different from your PSX Live ID. Close all IE sessions and login again. If the error continues, confirm with your PAM that your access has been set up, then contact the RSC to investigate further if needed. 2. Take PSX Training Maximize your experience and learn everything you need to be successful in PSX. Take the localized PSX self-serve training available anytime at PSX training. 3. Confirm Your Account & Login for the First Time After your account is created ,you will receive a welcome . Access the PSX Welcome ; click the link to open PSX. Click Sign In and then enter your address (that you provided to your PAM) and your password. Click Sign In. Accept the Privacy Statement. Define your Default Settings. If you have not already, take the localized PSX training 4. Start Working with PSX Use the PSX URL to login: Work in PSX to upload and manage your opportunity pipeline. Use Help ( ) for quick reference and links to further training. If you need additional support, contact your PAM or your local RSC.

PSX Opportunity Fields
What is PSX? PSX is a pipeline management tool for Partners to share opportunities with their PAMs at Microsoft PSX delivers an innovative, agile Partner pipeline management built entirely on Microsoft technologies and best practices What are the benefits of PSX? PSX promotes co-selling with your PAM to help Partners close deals faster PSX enables Partners to reach advanced competencies in the Microsoft Partner Network PSX allows Partners to receive financial incentives for their pipeline creation efforts PSX Home When you login, the default page appears. From here, you can navigate to the desired opportunity management page. PSX Leads View opportunities Microsoft has shared with you. You can accept or decline leads as appropriate. PSX Add or Import Add opportunities and click Share to send them to your PAM. Opportunities here are visible to only you only on the computer where they are added. PSX Incentives Partners enrolled in Incentives may view which opportunities have been submitted for an incentive and their request status. PSX Opportunity Fields Fields required to Share an opportunity are flagged* Ask your PAM which additional fields they would like you to complete Customer Name* Opportunity Name* Expected Close* Sales Stage* Deal Size License Revenue* Products Opportunity Description Marketing Campaign ID Licensing Program & Sub-Type Workload Solution Area Agreement ID Partner Sales Rep* Partner Role Partner Location/City/PAM* Partner Oppty ID MSFT Oppty ID Update Shared Manage the opportunities shared with your PAM. Opportunities are visible to both you and your PAM and can be downloaded. Accessing Help Files Scroll to the top of any PSX window and on the top right-hand corner click on the blue Question Mark to access Help
