Objectives of this session We will break into 8 groups of 6 or 7 individuals  Table assignment determined by Section Size and location  Goal is to optimize synergy and ability to take away lessons learned from other sections Each group work together to  Talk about event planning in your section  Talk about “best practices” as determined in your section  Share experiences – good AND bad  Share ideas Each group will then report out on items that have worked well, or not, in the past

3. 7 Potential Section Activities to Discuss Section activities should be based on innovation and the number of members that were impacted  Do something to honor your members  Try something out of the ordinary  Focus on Educator Associates Engineers as Educators Teachers Experiences and Needs  Invite Spouses or Significant Others Include them instead of taking away “another evening” Make it formal and include awards  Engage Students High school science fairs winners University design projects  Include Families Movie Night / Game Night / Aerospace Trivia Night Picnic / Games / Kite Flying / Paper Airplane Contest
