4.  And why are the media and focusing on college players rather than the larger issues?  Because that's what we've been conditioned to do. That's what fans care about. There is a huge hypocrisy and college sports. Its like the kids who take pennies are immoral while the universities who chase millions are just.

5.  Why do the players take money and cars and houses for their families and much more? Well one reason is recruiting. Some programs feel that in order to get a major recruit they have to throw things at them. Which hints that head coaches are aware of what’s happening.

6.  Some college programs (not all) have to give something to get these kids. Some of these players come from poor backgrounds, so for these kids to get some money is a big deal especially if the players and their families aren’t financially comfortable
