5. 9th Meeting of the Steering Committee 5 / 26 Lisbon, 10 November 2009 CIRCLE CA key results Establishing the network: cooperation between national research agencies and programmes; Setting up of a variable group approach (e.g. Mediterranean, CEES, Mountains, Nordic); Launching of 3 calls (closed: MEDiterranean, NORdic; open: MOUNTains) for transnational collaborative research projects; Funding of 11 research projects and 48 national research teams with a total combined call budget of 4.7Million EUR (against 2.7 Million EUR of coordination budget); Organising joint activities (e.g. workshops, conferences) and support of review studies (e.g. PEER comparison of National Adaptation Strategies).
