What If The Person Doesn’t Respond? Example 1. Wait one week. (To not be desperate—trust the process) 2. Go to ‘Sent Items’ and hit reply. 3. Write: “NAME, I never heard back from anyone last week. If it makes sense to talk, let me know how your calendar looks. If not, who is the appropriate person? Thanks, Glenn 4. If no answer, wait for a week then send the same email. 5. If no response, then send them a ‘Close Your File’ Email. 6. Once you have meeting, you need to close them. 7. I usually always phone the person as well when I send a follow-up email as sometimes email just doesn’t get to its intended destination.

‘Close Your File’ Email Template Example #1 Subject: Close your file NAME, I’m writing to follow up on the email I sent to you re: OMEGA MIND. (add particulars). I have just met with my team (create an event) to review all of our new accounts over the past month (insert time period). We now close files each month (insert time period) and are in the process of closing your file. Typically when I haven’t heard from a customer after a few weeks, it means they are really busy or are not interested. If you aren’t interested, do I have permission to close your file?
