WHO IS THE ARTICLE ABOUT??? This article is about a mother panda, Mei Xiang, and the surprising birth of her two twin cubs.

FACT AND OPINIONS Fact: It was only the third time that giant panda twins have been born in the United States. Fact: Zoo officials said that pandas with twins are often unable to care for both babies and generally one dies. Fact: The cub was squealing. Fact: The first cub weighed 86 grams, he said.
