SNORKELING - Students observe and identify various fish, invertebrates and algae.

SEA KAYAKING – Students learn basic paddling and safety techniques using Scupper open-cockpit sea kayak. Students will explore Catalina’s scenic coast and beaches.

High & Low Ropes Initiative A class designated to building confidence and having fun. These activities are designed to challenge and empower students while developing their leadership and team building skills.

EVENING LABS

SQUID DISSECTION – Students will learn about squid life cycle. Students will dissect squid with a partner identifying external and internal anatomy and function.

We hope you can join us! To be considered as an eligible candidate for this trip, application is due to Mrs. Oswalt or Mrs. Flynn no later than 2:00 Friday, AUGUST 14. NO EXCEPTIONS! Students will be informed on Monday, August 17 if they are selected to go. If you are selected, your deposit of $60 (cash or check payable to CCA) will be due Wednesday, August 19 to hold your spot. Remaining balance of $250 will be due September 2. Total cost of trip is $310. If your deposit is not in by that date, your spot will be given away!
