2.  Greenwood Elementary was established in 2003 as a Kindergarten to Fifth grade school in Princess Anne, MD.  Prior to becoming an Elementary School, Greenwood was a Middle School.  New furniture for the Media Center was ordered in 2003 and the walls and carpeting were redone.  A Promethean Board was added to the center in 2008.  The space does not have windows or any outside light.  It is in desperate need of a makeover!

4. Design Evolution Grown from a K-5 elementary school to PreK- 5. Student population has grown from 300 to 450/projected to increase to 500 students Currently accommodates only one class at a time and is not conducive to independent study by students. The media center needs to be renovated and expanded to accommodate the growing student population and the changing roles of the media center.
