2 In this research paper you will be learning about cheetahs
In this research paper you will be learning about cheetahs. First you are going to learn about what it looks like, its habitat, how it protects itself, what it eats, its predators and some interesting facts.

3 Habitat Cheetahs live in tall grasses in Africa. They live near wooded areas in the Savanna. Things you will see in the Cheetahs habitat are tall grass and wooded areas. The cheetahs can survive here because they have black around their eyes to block out the sunlight. They are quiet and fast. The country where cheetahs can be found is Africa.

4 Physical Description The cheetah is a yellow furry animal with black dots. It also has black around it’s eyes and long legs.

5 Defense The cheetah runs fast to protect itself. One way the cheetah protects itself is by running as fast as a car on a highway. Another detail about the cheetah’s defense is that it can hide itself into long grass to defend. Finally, the cheetah uses camouflage to blending into its habitat.

6 Prey The cheetah eats gazelles, hyenas and any kind of meat. Cheetahs run fast and catch gazelles. Cheetahs eat hyenas. Cheetahs eat all kinds of wild animals. The cheetah hunts during the day. A cheetah dad eats 6 1/2 pounds of meat a day.

7 Predators A cheetah can freeze for 20 minutes. When the cheetah freezes the predators won’t see them because they camouflage into their backgrounds.

8 Interesting Fact A Cheetahs can freeze for 20 minutes at a time. Cheetahs do not like getting wet but they take dust bath. Cheetah dads eat a 6 1\2 pounds of meat.
