2015-2016 SGA-TSC: Mission and Vision Vision Statement The Student Government Association envisions a campus that inspires academic success, student leadership, unity, and wellness through engaging collaborative activities and fellowship. Mission Statement Our mission is to create innovative opportunities that provide experiences which enable individuals in our community to grow and thrive purposefully through academic, physical, and social wellness initiatives. Budget Focus Campus Life : Empowering all students to become a part of campus life and activities to include: Student diversity, clubs, wellness, and faculty engagements Student Support Initiatives : Continuing to encourage and support all students by enhancing beneficial physical, academic, and extracurricular activities to enrich the student life on the Tarpon Springs Campus and in the community Student Success and Retention : Support college-wide initiatives (ex. College Experience, Microsoft, and BayCare) TE

Our goals for the new school year Keeping the academic, physical, and social concerns of the Tarpon Springs Campus students of upmost prominence Continue our goal of supporting personal wellness by keeping a personal trainer on campus in the Wellness Center Carry on the high participation level at our events on campus Encouraging the clubs to be active, prideful, and engaged Supporting college-wide initiatives that fall in line with SPC’s vision and goals Reaching out more to the community by getting involved with local businesses and community centers AS
