Questions for VDOT 1.Can the 95 Express lanes be widened within existing RW from 2 to 3 lanes from the Dumfries area to the Garrisonville area? 2.Are there any potential RW constraints with building 3 Express lanes from the Garrisonville area to the Massaponax area? 3.What the feasibility of converting the 95 Express lanes to have the potential for bi-directional flow? For example, 1 lane SB and 1 lane NB concurrently or 2 lane SB and 1 lane NB concurrently? Some cities like Boston have the ability to manage the number of lanes available for peak periods vs. weekends by having moveable barriers. 4.Where are there RW constraints on widening I-95 to an 8 lane section for General Purpose and/or CD lanes between the Quantico area and Massaponax area? 5.Where are there RW constraints on widening I-95 to a 10 lane section for General Purpose and/or CD lanes between the Quantico area and Massaponax area? 6.Assuming the I-95 Rappahannock River projects in both the SB and NB directions, what does VDOT think about the feasibility of a new I-95 interchange in the City of Fredericksburg in the vicinity of the Virginia Welcome Center? 7.Assuming the I-95 Rappahannock River projects in both the SB and NB directions, and at least 1 CD lane in both directions continuing south of Rte 3 to the Massaponax area, what does VDOT think about the feasibility of new or partial interchanges at Harrison Rd, Rte 208, and/or Rte 608-Massaponax Church Rd?
