1. Supporting details are important, but you can’t “snow- job” your way around an answer with a ton of random details. Once you give details that support your topic, (the who & the what), you must now EXPLAIN why and how.

4. In my paragraphs, I need to explain why/how these things impacted my life, not just give a bunch of details about them. When you just give details, you are giving surface info only. It’s like the difference between plot & theme in Reading. In your writing, we need the plot & the theme of you!
