© SmartCard Networking Forum Who are we? Launched in May 2001 by Founder Bracknell Forest Borough Council and Sponsor LDA The Forum is an independent organisation and is not a platform for sales or political lobbying

© SmartCard Networking Forum Our Mission? To be an active Member Forum which shares information, experiences and ideas in a structured and focused environment Managed by the Public Sector for the Public Sector

© SmartCard Networking Forum How we are structured? The Forum has two main categories of membership: –Full membership (public sector) –Sponsor membership The Forum is managed by an elected Core Group The activities of the Forum are bound by a legally approved Constitution agreed by Members

© SmartCard Networking Forum Progress to Date Much higher profile nationally Currently have 520+ members from 292 organisations 10 Events – Bracknell, London, Milton Keynes, Doncaster, Maidenhead, Newcastle, Coventry and now Bolton Fully operational website with 50,000 ‘hits’ per month
