Objectives Give fellowship support to encourage participations from member economies to attend APAN's twice yearly conferences. The Fellowships are offered on a competitive basis. Students (graduates and undergraduates) are encouraged to apply. Young scientists may be awarded if they exhibit qualities that deserves the sponsorship. Considerations will be given to individuals who are a part of APAN's primary and associate members, or from developing economies in the region.

Selection Guideline Offer a quota of fellow recommended by the developing economies among APAN members Reserve 2 quotas of fellows to potential APAN members, and done by Fellowship Program Committee, if urgent, FP Committee chair can make the decision The speakers of annual Network Research Workshop (NRW) will be awarded by the Fellowship Program, and the suggestion to NRW: 3 speakers/session, 12 speakers totally for one-day workshop Support the student speakers at other APAN sessions The other quotas will be distributed among the regular applicants from developing economies among APAN members and selected by member chairs, high priority will be given to students. Flexible award transfer internally and externally

New Chair Election The new chair is Nooraida Naser from Malaysia Jennifer/Jie An will be the co-chair till the next summer meeting in 2006
