What We Need Online apparel products for dogs (boots, coats, costumes, jewelry, sweaters). Variety of each kind of product (different colors and styles). Login option to track user through the site (cookie). View cart option to help user track his shopping. Online ordering/ checkout (form validation). Other site information, i.e. services, terms of use, about us, contact us.

Navigation Approach Frames: Top frame includes navigation links to the login, view cart, checkout, and terms of use pages. Left frame includes navigation buttons for the shopping, service, contact, and about us pages (with swapping images). Also it has links to the boot, coat, costume, jewelry, and sweater pages.

Technical Considerations Browser compatibility: –Commercial site --> maximum compatible to Netscape & IE 3.0 and above. Used simple techniques only: –Frame, table, javascript, links, forms. –Minimized page size for quick loading --> each page less than 50kb. –Used tables throughout the site to accurately control display in case of different browsers, window resizing.

Left and Top Frame Layouts Left frame: –Navigation buttons and links. –Copyright information at the bottom of the frame. –Yellow background to balance the look with other pages. –White and black text. Top frame: –Store Logo –Navigation links. –Use of image and animations to balance the look. –Black text with yellow and white background.

Main Frame Layout Our main goal was to have a well balanced layout on all pages. Green, yellow, black, and white backgrounds. Yellow, black, and white text. Dog images on all pages.

Online Shopping and Checkout Pages: Start of E-Commerce The user can choose quantity and add product to shopping cart. The user can view shopping cart at any time while shopping. Used a form to collect all the information on the checkout page. The user’s input is sent to our email when user clicks the “send form” button. Thank You page will be displayed.
